Do You See Flowers or Do You See Weeds?

You fight dandelions all weekend, and late Monday afternoon there they
are, pert as all get out, in full and gorgeous bloom, pretty as can be,
thriving as only dandelions can in the face of adversity.
- Hal Borland

I hope that we can see flowers in a world that sees weeds."

I'm 36 years old, and I still want to blow on a dandelion whenever I see one!

I came by to welcome you to SITS! We're happy to have you with us!

I have a little fenced garden with 4 rose bushes in it (so far) and tons of beautiful violets!!

I see flowers.

I see little girls wearing necklaces; I see bunches being presented to me by smiling 4 yr old faces; I see harbringers of spring. They don't bother me on my lawn. They mostly get mowed before they turn to see; so I only have a scattered few.

My boys definitely see them as flowers. As magic wishing flowers. :)

Stopping by to welcome you to SITS.
