Walking on Water

Out and about this Wednesday with lake views from our backyard.

Temperatures are below normal here. Even the geese look cold.
Are you staying warm?

Living it up at Lakewood,

Beautiful pictures! Though it does look cold. We've had a colder than normal winter here too - so much for global warming! Thanks for the visit - I think you are the first person to make the Wilson connection (or at least the first person who found it funny lol). Have a great day. Kathy

Gorgeous photos of the ducks on the frozen lake, we were out walking in the snow this morning but this afternoon will be spent indoors reading by the fire.

Even in cold weather the lake looks gorgeous! The ducks are so cute.Looks like it's cold everywhere. Yesterday, I went out to water the plants and the water in the hose was frozen....Christine

Temps are below norm in our part of the country, too. We are doing our best to stay warm.

Your photos are beautiful.

Now I know where our geese go for the winter. I came over from Blondies journals. Like your blog. Sue

Brrrr...that water looks cold, but I love the beautiful pictures you took (and probably froze doing!). And those are some fat geese, probably confused by the cold temps! What strange weather we are having!!

Thanks for coming by!! Have a great week! :-)

Lovely pictures! I think that most of the country is in the deep freeze right now. We are VERY cold here in Florida. I'm not going out until 2:00, and that's because it will warm up to 50 degrees. Floridians don't know what to do with cold weather. We did have a freeze last night, so at 2:00 a.m. when I woke up and checked the temps, I wandered out in the yard and dripped our spickets. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Happy Outdoor Wednesday!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Beautiful photos of the lake and gesse. Yes, this is very similar to my post, the only difference being that you have SUNSHINE and it was snowing in mine. =)

Very nice blog you have. I'll be back to visit. Thanks for visiting mine.

Happy New Year to you!

Maybe they are very close friend with God who told them how to walk on water?

Thanks for popping over to Bainbridge Cindy!
I adore the geese!
I wonder if they like the frozen pond water?
We have lots of geese on Bainbridge Island...and the seagull try to join them!

A very pretty watery post. The ppor ducks look cold tho. Take care and stay warm.

We have a small pond in the back with about a dozen of our own ducks who stay year round. We feed them cracked corn, and they don't seem to mind the frigid temps. The problem is the insurgent ducks. There are times when we have over 100 ducks on a tiny section of pond that isn't frozen. Seems they like the free supper!

These are wonderful photos! I don't think it's any colder than normal here so far, but I'm certainly feeling the cold more this year.

Excuse me...your BACKYARD???? Do you live in Heaven?? I'm officially jealous of your view. My backyard has a hill that goes up and a rotting railroad tie wall. Who's jealous now!?? By the way, I absolutely love the comments you leave on my blog every time - I'm totally serious, you're too much! ♥

Lori E January 6, 2010 at 8:16 PM

Now would those be some of our Canada geese down there? They sure look familiar.

Pat @ Mille Fiori Favoriti January 6, 2010 at 9:47 PM

Do you live in Lakewood, Colorado by chance? It does look cold whereever you are! :-)

Stay warm...spring will be here before we know it!
